At Oh My Tails, we believe that the best art is made to be lived with. Our pieces are functional art—designed for animal lovers who want beauty and meaning in the things they use every day.

Inspired by classic toile and the quirky personalities of real pets, every mug and coffee  celebrates the animals and stories that make a house a home.

You won’t find our designs anywhere else—each one is original, made with heart, and crafted to add a little more joy (and a lot more personality) to your daily rituals.

Meet the Founder

Hi! I’m Linda and while I didn’t plan to start a decor brand — but looking back, it feels inevitable.

I grew up on a small acreage filled with animals: dogs, horses, goats, pheasants — and even peacocks who liked to fly up to my second-story bedroom window to say hello. Animals weren’t just part of my life — they shaped it. That love is still at the heart of everything I create.

Her favorite riding activity was always heading home from a ride where my father would be waiting with a carrot.

 

After more than 20 years breeding and showing Dobermans, I developed a deep appreciation for movement, structure, and the little things that make each breed unique. But I couldn’t find home decor that honored those details — especially in a way that felt modern and intentional. So, I started designing my own.

The spark came when I began reimagining vintage toile — the scenic French pattern known for its quiet elegance — with a modern twist: realistic, breed-specific illustrations at the center. Not cartoonish. Not generic. Just expressive, instantly recognizable, and meaningful to people who know and love these animals.


My first order was for four of these mugs. We received so many compliments
from guests, that I placed this new
order for two more.
Truly a work of art and
even a reminder of my horse.
I enjoy my coffee every morning

That idea became Oh My Tails — a collection of animal-inspired designs, rooted in a passion for realism and a deep love for the unique characteristics of every breed. While toile is where it started, I'm excited to keep exploring new pattern styles that celebrate animals in fresh ways.
